Last night I made bbq wings and buffalo wings. Tonight its carne con pico de gallo y arroz and french fries. All homemade except the fries, my boyfriend has to have them at almost every meal.

I'm having an egg, sausage, and mashed potatoes.

Blended.

I wish I could just bite something. Anything.

Minxy, how much longer do you have to be wired shut and how are you doing?

And have you been doing any smoothies?

I'm at 2 1/2 weeks. This next monday I have an x-ray scheduled and I will probably find out how much longer. They told me to expect 6 weeks. I'm hoping that it will be less.

I haven't really done smoothies other than the strawberry smoothies that I buy at Jack's. In the beginning I made a couple of banana shakes and an apple pie one, but I haven't made anything since. I need to go buy some vanilla ice cream so I can make a cherry pie smoothie though, because I already bought the cherry pie filling.

And tonight I plan on making a vanilla with whipped cream, peanut butter sauce, nutella, and hot fudge blended fro yo.

And tomorrow will probably be the same. Mmmmmm......

The power of suggestion...

On the way home DH started in on how good a hamburger and fries would be and the seed of hamburger temptation was planted.

The burger was so big I practically had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite.

I wish they were homemade, we've been eating out way too much since we moved here.

Big Bear Diner in Rohnert Park. They have Bob's Big Bear burger that's bigger than my head (and I have a pretty darn sizable noggin) so we get that and cut it in half. It comes with enough fries for four people, I swear. It's not the absolute best burger I've ever had, but it's pretty tasty and we can both eat for about $10 which isn't bad I suppose. I try not to think about the 8 burgers I could make with $10 worth of ground beef.

Turkey dogs wrapped in crescent rolls, tomato salad, fantastic fresh corn, and for dessert I put spenda and cinnamon inside crescent roll dough. Mmmm. Satisfying supper.

Me too. I'm totally hoping to hear good news on Monday.

And I will then start the "Official Burger Countdown."

Last night was fair food while watching the demolition derby.

Tonight was our last visit to the local hot dog stand and ice cream place before they close for the season.
