I don't know. I have some salmon defrosting right now, so something with that. Hmmm...

Today is the first day of school and the kids have chosen cheeseburgers for dinner. We have some cherries and corn to eat with them. And homemade chocolate chip cookies!

All of a sudden I want my momma. I'm calling her today.

So cool they get to pick their dinner after such an exciting day!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Yesterday was a thoroughly unhappy stomach day, and I managed to eat a pb&j for dinner...an improvement over what my stomach tolerated all day.

Tonight it's going to be grilled chicken and veggies. I'm still sticking to less flavorful foods than usual.

Sent from my "smart"phone. Please excuse typos!

I made some pasta this morning it's hanging up to dry but I'm thinking I might use a bit of it. I'm thinking some kind of champagne cream sauce (I've got a bottle that's started to go a bit flat. I would hate to waste it)

Took my mom to the diner tonite. I had liver and onions, mashed potatoes, carrots, and a lovely roll. Mmmm.

Hotdogs (haven't tried this brand before, hope they're good) with mustard, ketchup and diced sweet onions, tater tarts (this is what my father-in-law calls them and now we just can't help ourselves calling them the same thing) and a variation of these cookies with the following substitutions: cut back on the sugar, used pecans instead of extra Biscoff and used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of white.

We may or may not have had them as an appetizer as well...

Mom surprised me and cooked while I was out w/ my horse. She did chicken teriyaki in a pan. Likely not as well executed as if I made it. But I was tired and hungry... so much better than if I had to make it!

We had thin-cut pork chops, zucchini and yellow squash from the garden (again...), and corn on the cob. DH went on an intense bike ride today and was still hungry after that so he had a leftover hot dog

Now I have this:Mom's Zucchini Bread Recipe - Allrecipes.com in the oven. The best zucchini bread recipe I've found (I modify it slightly)

DH went on an intense ride today too and ate NINE cookies, cheese and crackers, 2 and a half hotdogs and tater tots. Even with a long bike ride where on earth do they find room for all that food! Bottomless. PIT. Makes me want to slap him a tiny bit.

Haha, that's funny. I don't know where it all goes. I wish I would do something to burn that many calories, I'd love to eat whatever I want!

Not dinner but I am on my 3rd day of meatloaf sandwiches for lunch. And I am not sick of it yet.

Going up to Lake Erie on the harley tonite with my guy. We will stop at a couple bars on the way and will eat at TGIF. I will get Dragonfire Chicken as usual and he will prob get a steak and we'll share. Our TGIF is great, food is always good and super great service.

Once again, I forgot to take something out of the freezer...ugh, this is why I hate cooking dinner, I can never seem to plan ahead. I guess I could quick-thaw some chicken for fajitas. Or, DH will be home a little late tonight, maybe I'll have him pick something up.
