Ribs after a lot of chicken lately. Thankfully they're pre-ready ribs since Mom is "making" them.

Red Lobster tonite. Two of us ordered and shared 5 appetizers - calimari & veggies, clams, chicken planks, cheese sticks (all fried with a light crunchy coating), stuffed mushrooms, and of course their yummy biscuits.

Here in New England Red Lobsters do not last long-I think it's because there is so much other competition. I lived their biscuits when we had one locally.

Pretty much the only thing I really like at Red Lobster are the biscuits and I can make those at home and enlarge my azz in the privacy of my own home.

Tonite was a caprese salad, fried green tomatoes and fried zucchini (this zuke is the size of a canoe. I'll be eating it for days).

Today is herb processing day. Oven drying parsley, chives, basil, and oregano. Grinding hot pepppers that have been drying all summer.
Cooking and freezing a big batch of herb/veggie broth (I throw stems/skins/bits n pieces of herbs and veggies in a freezer bag then when it's full I cook it up).
Also made and froze a big batch of pesto so I'll be making pesto and veggie pasta for our weekly Sisters Sunday Dinner. And sweet corn.
The house smells divine.

Still trying to decide, I picked up some Kumatos at trader joe's and oh my goodness they are too good to cook with! I might take a cue from Jeepy caprese salad sounds fantastic.

Couldn't be arsed doing anything after I'd been to the gym so just had Heinz cream of chicken soup and a chunk of home made bread.
A steak is defrosting for tomorrow. Yum!

BBQ pork ribs
Baked beans (I added molasses)
Potato salad
Deviled eggs
I swear the ribs aren't burnt, just a crappy picture.
Baked beans in my favorite cooking pot!

Short ribs cooked in the crockpot. I will have mine over egg noodles. SO will have baked potato. And a tossed salad.
