Just have to say the short ribs smell yummy. That is a bad thing about working from home and crockpot cooking-you smell it ALL day.

Tonight we are having either thin-cut pork chops or New York steak plus caprese salad, rice, pilaf, and some kind of veggie.

Brown rice blend with roasted brussels sprouts and whatever other veggies I have in the freezer. I might throw in some scrambled eggs instead of meat. And some fresh tomatoes and basil on top.

Roasted chicken thighs with whole garlic cloves (they get all toasty and yummy as they cook with the chicken)but not sure of sides yet.
Im curious about the creamy crock pot chicken,sounds good

Family dinner, and I'm guessing some sort of chicken. For me also a protein smoothie. I've discovered I prefer them with greens, greek yogurt and some agave nectar to fruity and sweet. Somehow the greens end up sweeter after being ground up and it's refreshing and pleasant instead of heavy and cloying like fruit drinks become.

I had the BEST chicken Marsala ever when we were in Asheville, NC a few years ago and I swear I seriously contemplated picking up my plate and licking it.

Not sure what's for dinner I'm thinking some sort of stew or chowder. It just got really rainy and cold.
This morning I made the DH a pineapple shortcake w/ a sweet biscuit. He took a really good picture of it and renamed them badazz biscuits.
