Just have to say the short ribs smell yummy. That is a bad thing about working from home and crockpot cooking-you smell it ALL day.

Tonight we are having either thin-cut pork chops or New York steak plus caprese salad, rice, pilaf, and some kind of veggie.

Beef chow mien. Although I wish I hadn't put mushrooms in it, they've gone slimy.

Brown rice blend with roasted brussels sprouts and whatever other veggies I have in the freezer. I might throw in some scrambled eggs instead of meat. And some fresh tomatoes and basil on top.

Possibly tacos, possibly some sort of chicken with peanut sauce. We have another in-and-out night, and I can't decided which would be easier.

Family dinner, and I'm guessing some sort of chicken. For me also a protein smoothie. I've discovered I prefer them with greens, greek yogurt and some agave nectar to fruity and sweet. Somehow the greens end up sweeter after being ground up and it's refreshing and pleasant instead of heavy and cloying like fruit drinks become.

I ended up making mashed taters instead of rice!
I saved the gravy that was left over to use w/ rice

Mojito salmon
Three grains blend
Veggie medley

Strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. I got a "you rock" from DH on the whipped cream.

Ohhh, Jeep that looks good. Order the chicken Marsala for me, will ya?

I had the BEST chicken Marsala ever when we were in Asheville, NC a few years ago and I swear I seriously contemplated picking up my plate and licking it.

Not sure what's for dinner I'm thinking some sort of stew or chowder. It just got really rainy and cold.

This morning I made the DH a pineapple shortcake w/ a sweet biscuit. He took a really good picture of it and renamed them badazz biscuits.

We're meeting some friends for dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, The Iron Bridge Wine Company.
