I think I'm going to make american style pancakes. I've only ever made crepes not the thick fluffy ones.

Don't you guys make pikelets? Kinda similar, no? Only real difference is size. Leave it to Americans to supersize.

Tonite for Sisters Sunday Dinner, we'll be having cabbage rolls, Italian slaw, and crustless apple pie.

Last evening we had steak and corn on the cob. It had to be the best corn we have had all season. I usually only eat one, maybe two ears. . . I ate three!!

Jeepy, crustless apple pie? You? The hater of pie and lover of those awful cardboard things because you prefer crust to filling?

I haven't made pikelets before either. I had a go at the super sized pancakes and people eat them for breakfast? I managed to make 2 well enough to eat and my god, stodge city. I can't imagine how I'd feel after eating a stack.
Next time I'll make the small ones.
So as I badly made 2 whole pancakes at 4pm I am going to have veggie burger(s) with rice for dinner.

I like pancakes on the smaller end, too. And I usually can't handle more than maybe three. They are very heavy and sit in your stomach. We've already established that waffles are far superior.
I love ricotta pancakes and something called heavenly hots, which are made from sour cream. They're much lighter. And I love crepes!

Carbs and sugar are my enemies so I treat myself part of the time, then give them up the rest of the time.
So when I'm low-carbing no crust of any kind, even my beloved Pop Tarts.

I had a poptart of sorts for dessert last night. It's a toaster pastry from Nature's Path brand and it was really good. Organic carbs don't count, right?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I still have to try a pop tart. It's going on the bucket list.

No, use up the space for something that doesn't taste like cardboard!
Or make your own with pie crust and good jam. Done and done.

Lasagna. One of my local stores carries these fresh lasagna sheets that fit perfectly in my smaller casserole dish. And it tastes awweessoomme! Oh and local fresh mozzarella. Yummy.

I'm not in the mood to cook. I'm just going to make devilled eggs, waffle french fries, and some kind of vegetable.

Tonite will be homemade hot Italian sausage made with turkey burger. And a big pile of sauteed peppers and onions.

I made shrimp and grits for the first time. They were delicious - sharp cheddar, chives, and spinach mixed into my grits.

Homemade lasagne. It's half meat and half veggies.
