Tonight is one of the chicken/black bean/brown rice burrito that I made and froze.

It's a busy night here!

Tonght is 'use up the leftovers night'.
Honey mustard chicken, hot Italian sausage, cabbage rolls, slaw, applesauce.

Tonight I'm cutting up leftovers from the roast we had and making some sort of pasta. I'll probably do a basil, butter, tomato and sweet pepper sauce. Salad on the side. And a small amount of each of those because of the protein drink I'll also have.

Sent from my "smart"phone. Please excuse typos!

I really want to make stuffed shells tonight. Haven't had them in far too long.

I have boneless, skinless chicken thawing, so I'll do something with that. I wanted to try this http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/08/c...-zucchini.html but there's no way I'm turning on my oven in this heat. I will probably do fajitas or something similar.

Baby back ribs and coleslaw. I've been slow cooking the ribs in the oven since 10 am this morning. The house smells soooo good!

Chicken Pot Pie...mmm...and ribs...

I'm making my first pot of chili for the fall/winter season. It cooled down for a couple of days here in Texas for us to enjoy a pot of Chili. LOL

I think I'm going to have to make Chicken Pot Pie next week....

Question for all you experienced chefs. My nanny made spagetti squash last night...she said it taste good but had a wet texture instead of a noodle texture. Any thoughts on fixing that?

The fall weather and changing leaves have made me hungry for turkey and stuffing so I made my low carb version of a 'Holiday Turkey Dinner".
chicken pounded out thin, layer of mashed cauliflower, some low carb bread cubed and mixed with lots of onion, sage, parsley, salt, pepper, then some chopped apple.
rolled up and baked. It hit the spot!

Jeep, that sounds so good! Wish I could wiggle my nose and have that on my plate for dinner tonight.

Last night instead of wraps we had BBQ because DH saw this guy selling some in front of a store on the way home and once he mentioned it we were both craving BBQ. Well, it wasn't what we wanted (pulled pork) and what we did get wasn't all that great, but was worth a shot to try it! Wish I could place an order with the neighbor, that was so good I'm spoiled now.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Lombardi's in Petaluma has good BBQ (actually there's one in Cotati too, but it's much smaller so I'm not sure if it's as good).

I think we're doing take out tonight, I don't feel like coming up with something to make. Maybe sushi, it's been a while since I've had that and there's a new place I want to try.

That is a place I've been wanting to try and DH drives right by on his way home, maybe he can pick that up one day. Thanks for the reminder!

I've just had spagetti with a tomato sauce and some feta cheese.

I was still hungry so I had half a bowl of coco pops.

I'm still hungry. Maybe some toast. I really can't be bothered to eat at the moment.

They're most known for their tri-tip sandwiches (they're incredibly messy, you'll need a role of paper towels) and DH claims they have the best burgers he's ever had.

Today and tonight was supposed to be my day off from housework and cooking but, that's not happening sooooo I'm cooking some BBQ ribs(with my own sauce), baked beans, cornbread(may add jalapenos) a salad since someones dieting, ooo I have a taste for cucumber salad. I wish I had some collards but, SO doesn't eat em so it would be a waste making them. And I will be baking peanut butter cookies for dessert. I can't wait.

Grilled steelhead trout that was in a soy/ginger marinade, jasmine rice, sprouted bean trio and steamed broccoli. I really wanted roasted broccoli, but it was too damn hot to turn that oven on.

Strawberries and whipped cream for dessert.
