Yes, I do use the DevaBlonde Low Poo. It is violet-based and does a great job at brightening up my hair. For my protein treatment I use Nexxus Emergencee. My hair is fine and needs the extra protein. I use it once every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on how my hair is behaving.

Do you find the DevaBlonde Low Poo to be drying? Asking because the couple of violet-based conditioners I use are drying, so I was wondering if a violet-based cleansing product might be even more so.

Thanks Kitschy! It's been a process finding the right products and haircut, but I'm pleased with it!
I haven't found the Devablonde low poo to be drying, but I only use it once a week. I haven't tried the Blonde conditioner, but have stuck with DevaCare One Conditioner. It may be that the DevaCare conditioner counteracts the dryness some find in the blonde low poo.

Here's a thread about various products for grey hair that might be helpful.
Anyone with gray hair use a violet shampoo?

hi where do you find that shampoo, I looked on the link but it didn't say it was the one for blondes. Also, have you ever had success with Shimmering Lights shampoo? thanks annehquote=pigreyhound;1367449]I use Deva NoPoo for Blondes, which is a blue-toned NoPoo. My Deva stylist told me to put it in dry hair for about 20 minutes before I took my shower since I was having trouble keeping my white hair white, especially in the summer when it gets yellow very easily.

Thanks for posting the links, porzellan. I subscribed to the blog. I like the practical recommendations I read in a few sample posts, not just about growing gray.

I would join this gray journey. I got my first gray hair at 28. It was only one... for many years.
But now at 46, I've only counted three. (There are probably more, but my curls are so thick, I guess they're hiding.)
Anyway, is that gradual or what?
Mom is 67 and her hair is still mostly black, with some gray at the front.
I'll probably be like her. It's OK... I'll take those gray hairs as they come, whenever they decide to come...
