graying curlies: how often do you CO wash or shampoo your hair?
I was CO washing about 3x per week, including the day that I DT on the weekend. I am thinking of cutting back to one CO wash during the week and then DT on the weekend. I am hoping that a little less cleansing/rinsing will help my hair to be less dry and maybe keep my ends from being brittle (as it is, I get a trim every 8 weeks).
Just wondering what my gray-haired curly sisters do...

i cowash every day except the days i low poo which is about once every 7 to 10 days.
since i started dt with heat with cj deep fix my hair has been very moisturized.
also, it seems gray hair loses moisture fast, this was confirmed in an article by the curl chemist. the other thing that has helped my hair stay moisturized throughout the day has been cj aloe fix gel. i use this without a leave in and my hair has been great all day long.

Hi there!
I have been using Pure Life lavender no-poo a couple times a week and co-washing or water washing the rest of the week. I co-wash with Deva One C or the Pure Life lavender conditioner. I add some conditioner as a leave in too.
I just can't seem to go a day without at least wetting my hair.
But yes, my gray is pretty dry too and really hard to keep conditioned.

I condition wash 3-4 days per week. The other days I water wash my hair.
I don't like my 2nd day hair so I wet it every day.

i do my multicolored gray transitional curls almost every day since i swim. when i go to the lake i put some CO after the swim and plop at the lake and walk back, that way if i dont have time when i get home and need to see clients my hair is kindof reasonable tho not optimal. i notice that the gray parts are straighter sometimes a bit drier...

I cowash mine every 3-4 days. I don't like doing the whole routine every day, and my 2nd+ day hair isn't bad.

These days I co-wash once or twice a week and lo-poo once every other week. I try to DT twice a month, but at times, it doesn't happen.

I have to wet my hair every day but am trying to cut back the co wash to only 3X a week. Been leaving some of the conditioner in but noticing some build up.

I used to use Daily Fix every 3-4 days and just water wash in between, but my hair is having a hard time staying moisturized lately. Don't know if it's the weather, the increasing amount of gray, or what, so I'm experimenting with co-washing every time I wet my head now (which is currently every other day, but will go to 5 days a week as soon as school starts back up).
