Default It's almost a new year! Any plans/goals/things you want in 2014?

I will try to spend less time around negative people (mostly my family so yes, I want to spend less time with my family).
I want to spend more time at the beach and in the woods than I did this year.
I want to continue to work out hard.
I will continue to eat mostly real, homemade food and not food out of a box.
I want to continue to grow out my hair.
I want my house to sell!

I want to:

Pay attention to the present moment instead of reminiscing, regretting. "Be here now."
Avoid fights with sister.
Consciously be grateful for so many good things!
Go out more, fight being shy.
Continue exercising. Eat less salt.
Accept all the really nice things people say about me as possibly true!

My house is little. I only need the small back done, and the bathroom, and my bedroom. Living room would be nice, but it can wait.

Really, it's not all that much. It's just a pia and who knows what it will cost?

1) Learn to "let go" more when I'm upset. Ask myself, "is this REALLY a problem in the grand scheme of things?
2) Keep disciplined about hydration so as to avoid gout attacks.
3) Keep disciplined about wearing my ankle braces.

AND

4) Get bold enough to try a perm rod set. I love my 2b/2c curls but I'd love to try the world the 3s and 4s live in.

I found out fairly recently that my BP, BGL and cholesterol are all on the high side of normal so I need to get my diet sorted and stick with the good stuff (frustrating as I don't have a bad diet as it is).
Get our finances in order.
Continue this years effort in being more sociable and in keeping in touch with people.
Take time out for me and not feel guilty/lazy about it.
I'd say get a new job as I always say that but given my second point (above) don't think I'll manage it.

Just curious in judging by your name, you wouldn't be Italian by chance would you? I ask because that's my family's home country.

1.Having the courage to really do what makes me happy.
2. Figuring out what truly fufills that for number 1
3. Eating as clean as possible and building some muscle.
4. Meeting new people even if it means being more sociable
5. Taking risks (the good kind)
6. Living in a way that is worth while
7. Becoming a bit more minimal
8. Continuing to volunteer at the shelter
9. Spending time and keeping some amazing relationships
10. Not beating myself up with doubt and appreciating the present.

And of course staying curly!

- FInish growing out this haircut so I can have some uniform curls.
- Go back to my doing 1 nice thing/good deed per day for somebody, because it makes me feel good.
- Get strong enough to use my massage license and get my business started! (Kinda fell apart when I herniated my disk this year.)
- Lose 20 lbs.
- Find my inner peace and make some friends who are positive, and keep the negative away.

Haha, yeah I know, my family is from all over. Even have some German thrown in there too!

And thank you I'm loving being natural. I feel so much more like myself with my curls!
