I'm 40. Things I always do for my skin:
1) cleanse twice daily
2) apply moisturizer twice daily - find the best night creme you can and use it every night (I said best and not most expensive...Olay products are fantastic for the price...Arbonne has a night creme in their anti-aging line that rocks - costs an arm and leg but worth it if you can afford it). Daytime moisturizer should have sunscreen
3) wear sunglasses (prevents squinting) - better yet wear a hat if you're going to be out in the sun for a prolonged period of time
4) get at least six hours of sleep
Things I never do:
1) go to bed with makeup on
2) over-cleanse my skin - this produces excess oils. I used to do this and thought my skin was oily of course. I received my first facial in like forever and my skin wasn't oily for a week straight. I went back to the specialist and she explained that my skin was out of balance.
3) smoke
I used to use Clinique for my skin and it always worked great. I now use the ShiMa facial products at the Scott Miller Salon here in Rochester NY and they're fab also.
Also, watch what you eat - whatever you put in your body will show up on your face, both good and bad.
