Wavy mom with a CURLY kid....

So my 7 year old has decided to try and embrace her curls for the first time (I'm excited!!!). I am wondering what kind of products to use on her hair. My stylist recommended Fresh Curls for styling, but I am kind of on a budget. Anyone have any recs from Sally's or even Wal Mart? Any help with any product type (shampoo, condish, leave in, etc...) is appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!!!

I like natural hair care products like Shea Moisture line (walgreens) and Organix line (walmart) These can be found at local stores and they both carry Shampoo&Conditioner, they work well on my daughter and they wont break the bank

Thank you so much!!! I am tempted to break the bank for her once, but I will wait it out and see if the other things work.

I would definitely try the lines I mentioned first, and if they don't work, then buy samples of the more expensive brands. Mixed Chicks sells samples for 99 cents, and Bee Mine sells samples for $5. I would order those before spending $12-17 per bottle, this way you will know if it's worth the money.

Ok. Thank you for letting me know. I used Organix Morrocan Oil condish on her and after i styled her hair with a couple of drops of Redken Fresh Curls Curl Refiner in her hair, she gasped and said "Mommy! My hair is BEAUTIFUL!" Thank you so much, KandyLandKurls! You have helped tremendously!!!!

We've had a lot of success with Kinky Curly products.
