Daughter's hair
My 3 yr old has the most stunning hair, IMO... it's the kind of hair I always wished I had. I'm not sure where she got it because mine is much curlier - I'd say hers is 2a because it's easy to manage and very loose curls, but it's not an S wave, it's big spirals. Not really 3a either because they are BIG spirals. I'm jealous lol. I can do whatever I want with it and it behaves. It's soft, fine, and easily goes curlier if I leave it wet, or if it's bedtime and she doesn't want to sleep with wet hair (she's that picky I promise haha), it straightens almost completely, even being dried on the lowest setting. I really hope I can raise her in a way to appreciate the gift she's been given and help her to take care of it. I'm not sure what's in her Watermelon scent kids' shampoo or what's out there for kids that is more organic... she doesn't behave in the bathtub and if it gets in her eyes I'd rather it be kid-friendly.
I'm sure her texture and curl pattern will change as she gets older but I wonder how much. Mine was very tight ringlets as a child and I'm not sure if my pattern now is a result of aging or damage. We'll see as I get it healthier what it does. I could see hers straightening as she gets older vs getting curlier. Either way, I want to keep it as healthy as possible and hopefully she grows up with a better attitude about it than I did mine!
