Default Curly Products for Young Boys

Are there any curly products geared towards the male gender? Does it seem all the curly hair children products are geared towards the female gender?

I sent my 7 yr old son to bed in tears because I put "girl" stuff in his hair. I actually put the children's version of the Root Simulator hold pudding. I've done this before since it works wonders in his hair. As if it was created for his curls. Put it on him every night after his shower, but he never really looked at it. I was being lazy last night and asked him to get it out the bathroom for me. Well I never even gave it a second thought, but it does have a pic of a little girl on it and actually says "girl's" hold pudding. He was so upset with me. Fell asleep crying. My heart was broken, but what do I do?

Are there any similar products for boys? Should I just cut his beautiful curls off? He gets complimented so much for his hair that I would hate to cut it, but I don't want him feeling like I put "girl stuff" in his hair.

just pull out the sticker of the shampoo

or hide it by sticking something on it or change the whole bottle

Awww... that just broke my heart. That's so sad and so precious. Poor lil tough guy! I second the changing of the labels. And maybe you can let him use hair gel? Many gels have cool names & gel in general can in some ways be seen as being masculine.
