I'm not the parent but my eight month old nephew's hair has a wave in it after he gets a bath and a few days after.

When I was a baby I had wavy hair but as I grew older my hair turned curly. Mostly 3b/c and some 4a. But everyone's different. His hair may get a little curlier.

my hair used to be 2a (straight with little bits of waves). After puberty it turned out to be 3a hair.

But, everyone is different. Maybe later on the texture won't change at all, or even become more straight.

Bleached-damaged 3a hair. Fine, porous&dry, medium to high density. Goal: growing the painted hair out (I only do some highlights in the out grow every 3-4 months), and have long healthy hair till at least BSL when curly.
