Default 4 Month old curly girl.

I have a 4mth old curly, like me. On the back of her hair it gets so knotty and frizzy. Any tips in how to get the knots out and tame it? I'm thinking about using a light LIC.

Use silk or satin bed linen, prevention is easier than cure and I'm guessing there are plenty of naps at present! Conditioner only washing is great for detangling little ones.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG, growing out mechanical and chemical damage = breakage and very high porosity. Past armpit length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut
Treatments: Komaza Matani, coconut oil, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss ultimate volume, Inecto argan
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Boots Essentials gel
Experimenting with: going back to basics

That's a tough one. I agree with Firefox on the silk, but from what I remember the most head rubbing came from the car seat. If you can safely get a silk scarf on the back of the seat, that will probably help, but it will have to be secure so there's no suffocation risk. For getting the knots out, try just a dab of KCKT. It's very gentle so shouldn't irritate her skin at all. She also may lose this hair--I'm not sure if all babies lose their newborn hair, but both of mine did between 4-6 months--and it may grow in with a slightly different texture. Although my younger son's hair grew in curlier!
Former longhair, now CG, living in N. California where the fog meets the wind

3a/b, fine, normal porosity/elasticity, high density

Conditioner wash and style, sometimes with a dab of BRHG.
