Help! My niece had ringworm in hair!
I thought I would come to you all for some advice with my 3-year old nieces hair. She has very tightly coiled, and sometimes dry curls (probably in the 4's somewhere.) In any event, we discovered she had ringworm in her hair a few weeks ago. The virus is gone, but she now has two sizely bald spots in the back of her hair. Luckily, we are able to cover them up with cute ponytails, but her mom is still patiently waiting for the hair to grow back in.
Any suggestions on how we can care for her hair and promote growth?
BTW her mom doesn't have much experience dealing with curlies as she is a relaxed girl, so I am trying my best to pass on valuable information.
3c, color processed with bleach, hair often dry
CG since 04/2005
CO when possible, occasional shampoo with CON
Last trim 04/09
Trying to grow out hair to hang past shoulders, but experiencing a lot of breakage.
I often mix between straightening and wearing curly. Haven't straightened since 08/09.
