I'm not super well versed on the issue, but when I was looking into it during the election, I recall thinking-- so, we're going to spend a lot of money, put the environment at risk to some degree, for what kind of payout? Is there a guaranteed payout?
I kind of feel like the money we're spending on this might be better put toward the research to make alternate fuel sources viable.
