It amazes me that you still defend these terrorists, who are protesting, setting fire to buildings and demanding the beheading of people all for cartoons. Their anger at these cartoons isn't rooted in these people's poverty, it's rooted in their fanatical ideology. They seem to think they rule the world and can tell the nations of the world what to do. I am hoping we send a clear message they do not.

Dead is dead? I am guessing you do not believe in killing in self-defense.

It seems you missed the point of the article. I'm not defending terrorists and neither is the writer. She clearly states that the killing in 9/11 was wrong. Jeezus, I was a few miles away when it happened. Saw the smoke and smelled the stench. I won't ever be the same. But I can feel this way, despise what terrorists did and do, without needing to lash back at innocent people. And I can listen to Osama's message to see if he has valid points. This does not mean I think his wrath is ok.

Would I kill in self-defense? I have no idea how I would react if someone was in my face trying to kill me. But our having a war in Iraq is not self-defense.

If I went and killed one hundred American citizens, including women and children, would you take a minute to stop hunting me down, let alone stop and LISTEN to my demands???

Should we have negotiated with Son of Sam or Ted Bundy or any other American murderers? Then why do you wish to even LISTEN to this madman who not only has killed thousands of Americans but finances the killing of many other innocents in Israel and beyond.

You wish to negotiate with a mass murderer and stop killing "his people". His people are terrorists, some of whom orchestrated the event which you said causes you to never be the same.

You prefer the mass murderer's points over those of our own President and side with the murderer. I have tried to be civil during this conversation, but frankly, people like you make me ill.

Some last few words of advice: Read the Senate Transcripts. Perhaps it will provide new insight into your thinking.

Making you feel ill was not my intent, and I feel no ill will towards you. Misunderstood, yes. And I do think it is mean what you wrote above and it would have been nice for you to keep that to yourself.

Are you talking about Iraq now, or bin Laden? Because Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
