I would much rather spend the next 4 years looking at Sarah Palin than Joe Biden.

If a VP does the job right, you're not supposed to see much of them at all. I don't think we'll see much of Biden, but if Palin were to get in there, she's already told us she's going to be in charge of half the gov't. Besides, McCain is 72 years old and has had malignant melanoma 4 times and hasn't released his most recent health records, so chances are, he won't make it 4 more years and we'd see WAY too much of Palin.

I could care less what the VP looks like or the Pres. Just do your darn job without making the USA look like idiots. And based upon that - I choose Obama/Biden.

Wow! I didn't know that such an important job as the VP should be determined by a beauty contest! You've got me there! Palin is more attractive than Biden. However, Obama is more attractive than McCain.
Oh no! Now what?!? Maybe a talent show. Palin can dance, Biden can sing, McCain can shoot bows and arrows, and Obama can lift weights.
That'll be fun!

Wow....everything is simple when you simplify it, isn't it?

Heck of a foreign policy approach -- "let's not look like idiots."

BTW: Sarah Palin is hawt!

You bring up McCain's age so often one might conclude you suffer from gerontophobia.

His mom is in her nineties and still going strong so I wouldn't write him off quite yet.

I used to work in HR for a factory and I can tell you when you have 50 people applying for 1 union job, and they are all equally qualified, you look for ways to start winnowing out applicants, and not finishing HS is one of them.

Of course, having an important relative is always a way to get on the "short list" for a job anywhere, but especially in fields where it is who you know, not what you do.

And his dad is dead...at around age 70...so he may be on borrowed time.

I dwell on McCain's age because he chose such a suck-ass VP, who does not belong within a mile of the White House. The woman is a menace. UNqualified, categorically.

Palin could get Baby-Daddy-Levi a job as a state trooper. She did it for her sister's husband. Of course, then she also tried to get him fired. Levi best not to piss off Granny Palin.

And here I thought this was a Presidential election, not a beauty pageant. I guess I was wrong, silly me!

In order of beauty:
Palin, Obama, Biden, McCain

Well, Palin is first, but McCain is last. So, do I vote for McCain via Palin? Or maybe because Obama is more attractive than McCain, I should vote for Obama.

This is ridiculous!

Wow, you certainly scored a great gig. You came to NC.com just looking for a little advice (which you scorned) to help you comb your poor little daughter's hair, and lo and behold, an awesome Politics board for you to spread out and make yourself at home.

See, I'm all about the conspiracy theory.

I would to see a McCain/Palin supporter explain why Palin won't go on TV for a live interview. She should have been out there last night or this morning. I've heard nothing from that side.

Does anyone have a link to that rally?

They're over on the "Check out the racist..." thread here on Politics.
