I feel....ick.
I can't wait for this election to be over.
I feel gross. Over the past month or so, I feel like I've just been stuck in this little box in my brain. The box is full of sarcasm , annoyance , exasperation , disbelief , some mean-spritedness , eye-rolling , sadness , extreme dislike , disgust , and just an overall craptastic attitude .
I'm tired.
and I feel like I need a really long, hot shower to wash all this negativity off of me.
Obama... please just hurry up and win.
I don't know how much longer I can stand to be around myself.
Anyone else feeling...ick?

I think everyone feels ick, I also just want this to be over and hope that Obama wins in the end. I'm tired of all the bashing (from both sides but more so McCain's) and the lies.
I feel like we're going in circle's and its making me dizzy and sick. I know it's going to end, but not soon enough.
slight guano: I like that vid in your siggie, it shows a side of McCain that the republicans like to ignore and it needs to be put out there more so everyone can see it.

Yeah, I was getting totally burned out on the election. I still follow it a little to make sure there aren't any major mind-changing developments, but it got to the point where I had to remember for my own peace of mind that I've decided who I'm voting for, and the rest will be just have to be decided in a couple of weeks. I definitely pulled back from it all. (Though that's not going to keep me from digging up tonight's SNL skits somewhere, which I missed. )
Maybe you should take a bit of a break and not think about it at all for a little while, if it's really bothering you so much. Go play in a pile of leaves and enjoy the season.

I feel ick and I feel worried. This campaign has been so nasty and I wonder what's in store over the next couple of weeks to smear Obama.

Normally I find elections kind of disgusting. I think, if you were children running for class president we would kick you both out and start over because we don't let kids act like this. GROW UP you, you nasty losers. I don't even usually vote because by the end I hate all the choices. I hate how the candidates and their campaigns are so low and ugly and perfectly reasonable people get into the mud slinging and nastiness.
And then I just watched that Amy Pohler thing from last night and laughed till I cried. This whole damn thing might have been worth that two minutes. It's up at Perez if you need a refresher.

This is another thing that bothers me: it goes both ways. Both sides are getting pretty ugly. Just look at this forum. Obama supporters get every bit as nasty as the other side. It brings out the worst in people.

It's the racism that bothers me. That started directly from the McCain campaign. Since then, it's devolved on both sides.

Take heart guys-- - Colin Powell, Bush's former Sec. of State, just endorsed Obama
- Obama's campaign raised a record $150 million in September
- If the election were to be held today Obama would have 310 electoral votes
- Obama is ahead in all the traditionally Republican states like Florida

no, Springcurl, crying Racism doesn't excuse the McCain smears, either. BOTH sides are EQUALLY guilty of nastiness. Period.
I don't even CARE who wins anymore, just let it be over!!

Saying that one is "crying racism" is EXTREMELY dismissive. I repeat: it is nasty on both sides, but it started with the racism in the McCain camp and devolved from there. Perhaps Obama's camp now believes in fighting fire with fire so he doesn't end up being swiftboated.

No kiddin' of course you're more tired of it from McCain's side if you're an O'bama supporter. I agree with NYcurlygirly it works both ways.

Lol at O'bama.
It'd be easier if he were indeed O'bama. He'd probably be white and Irish, and more people would be willing to vote for him.

Haha. You made me lol at an Irish O'bama!
And I'm not sure what people are referring to with racism on both sides? I have seen people saying nasty things about Palin, but that's a far cry from all the KKK member coming out of the woodwork, let alone actual Republican party people doing racist things-- http://www.pe.com/politics/dearmond/...6.3d67d4a.html
If the Obama campaign was doing racist things like this Obama'd be arrested for terrorism!

When I said bashing & lies I meant the back and forth b.s. from both sides. But I'm more tired of McCain's NOT JUST BECAUSE I'M AN OBAMA SUPPORTER but because of the down right despicable acts that have been going on with them. Quite frankly they are very shady and have a lot of racist undertones.
