Progress

This is the Obama rally in St. Louis that had 100,000 people. The building in the background with the green dome is the Old Courthouse, where Dred Scott first sued for his freedom.

I bet he never would have imagined a scene like this were possible.

It's amazing, isn't it. I saw this photo on Yahoo and viewed each of the other 678 photos of Obama.

Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
That's a great picture.
I've been nurturing this little hope inside of me that Obama will help to unite us. The final irony being that after all that has been done to separate and divide white people and black people all of these years, and all of the injustices that have been perpetuated against our black brothers and sisters, that it will be a black person that ultimately helps to really unite us.

I think that would just be awesome.
I'm cynical. But I'm also an idealist/dreamer. Yeah, it may sound far-fetched, but hope is a very good thing and I'm keeping this little bit of hope with me and I'm going to carry it around.

Shun the non-believers...
Shunnnnnnnnn....

Anyway, like I said... great pic. Thanks for posting it.

That's awesome! It does bring hope to know so many people care!

Not to get anyone's hopes down, but I was just watching some rallies from 2004 that thousands of people attended and we thought NO WAY could Bush POSSIBLY win. But he did...

It's gonna be different this time. Por favor!!

Maybe I'm just emotional but first the picture of the slain soldier's headstone made me tear up...now THIS picture made me tear up as well.
