Default Hasselbeck+Obama+Ayers

OMG - poor Elisabeth cannot move past that Obama was on the same freaking committee as Ayers and they might have been in the same room. I think this is the only thing she can think of as to why she does not like him so she is a freaking broken record. I tune into the View just to watch the others tear her down and watch her roll her eyes and pout. It's entertaining in a track-wreck sorta way.

Hasselbeck is definitely posturing herself to get her own Fox show. She, and her ilk, are actually doing Obama a favor by focusing on these "terrorist" stories instead of focusing on the real issues. The stories haven't gotten any legs with anyone with half a brain, and it just turns them off of McCain even more. So...thanks Elizabeth!

- a track-wreck is when the track you are on ends up with a train and they wreck. I thought everyone knew THAT. Can you tell I was all in a tizzy when I typed that??

Glen Beck, who had a lunatic right-wing commentary show on CNNHeadline News is moving to Fox News. He belongs there. Eventually, maybe we can get all the jack*sses over at Fox and then tune them out.

I noticed that. I always wondered why he was on CNN?

Did you hear that McCain's top strategists are trying to get him to bring up Rev Wright again? Because of John Lewis' comments - makes no sense..

At this point, the McCain camp continuing it's ridiculous rantings might actually be helping Obama. The more they continue the hate campaign, the less the talk about the real issues, and the more the American people dismiss them as whackjob Rovians and tune them out.

I don't necessarily think they'll dismiss them as Rovian whackjobs. Last time I checked Rove was pretty darn effective.

Wackjobs can still be effective.

Michele Bachmann from Minnesota railed about how un-American Obama is (Colin Powell actually referenced her in his endorsement).

Her opponent can now afford TV spots, thanks to that HUGE mis-step. People are sitting up and taking notice.

Article.

Well, that's been their strategy all along, hasn't it? Portray people as un-American. I am very pleased that the press-- who for the past 8 years has given the Bush administration a free pass-- is finally started to question some of this stuff.

Especially with other whackjobs.

Powell may make people who already like Obama happy. I don't know what he really does for independents. After Iraq I've tuned the man out. I don't think endorsements add up as much as people think. But Colin Powell is a black liberal Republican. The perception is already out there that black people are voting for him because he's black. This seems like more of a big deal for the media and the campaigns. Translating into votes, we'll see.

UGH!!! This perception disrespects Colin Powell and all other black people who have weighed all factors when deciding on thier candidate of choice!

I NEVER hear any black people railing "insert white important figure" is only endorsing "insert white candidate" because he's white. Never.enters. their.mind.

Get this and listen well - black people are just as capable of making decisions that have nothing to do with race. Really, we do.
