Clearwater - Frank Armstrong was preparing to go for a jog this morning when he noticed his Lexus – adorned with a McCain-Palin sticker - had been vandalized with obscenities and a burned American flag.
Armstrong discovered the damage to his 2006 Lexus about 8:30 a.m. at his Sand Key condominium at 1400 Gulf Blvd. Clearwater police and Armstrong said someone etched obscenities and "KKK" into the paint, burned several areas of the car with cigarettes, set the flag on fire on his hood and may have urinated on the vehicle. Officers and Armstrong think the car was singled out because of its political stickers, including one reading "Nobama."
"This is definitely a hate crime," said Armstrong, a 41-year-old physician.

OMG - you want to compare crazy supporter stories??? You want to talk about dead bears and other grusome symbols used by McCain supporters? By the way - I call crap on that ATM robbery story -doesnt make sense. Check out the picture of her dressed up as a baby Obama on her "in the field" page. Offensive. Story stinks too - look at TMZ.

Why do you assume you know what the B stands for?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt a little... upon hearing this story. Something just seems off. Why did she refuse medical treatment, I wonder.

And how did he get the "B" so straight...wouldn't she have been squirming and trying to get away.... or was she knocked out?

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...MORE OF MY NEGATIVITY AND FINGERPOINTING AND NO INFORMATION ON WHAT MY CANDIDATE OF CHOICE CAN/WOULD DO FOR THIS COUNTRY. BLAH.

Again, you're not offering any information on what McCain can do for this country. You're just continuing with the childish fingerpointing, hypocrisy, and blind support.

Lastly, as long as "McCain supporters" are doing ***** like this, you can stop with the hypocrisy and finger-pointing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUf-cVLoPL4

I'm assuming you and McCain's constituents are constantly whining and fingerpointing childishly because McCain's campaign has nothing of substance to offer conservatives, or this country as a whole. I truly now believe this must be the case.

Because nothing can explain why everytime I watch McCain, he's attacking others like a chihuahua (all bark and no bite; bite = substance, vital information), whining and being hypocritical, and denying accountability for his own actions. The same goes for that embarrassment to women everywhere, Palin, and anyone who so blindly supports him.

Sorry, I'm still stuck on the first story...
why is the B backwards? Did she scratch the b into her face in the mirror and then didn't realize that it would be backwards...? If an attacker did it, would he have reallly thought that hard about it to scratch it in backwards so she woud be able to read it when she looked in the mirror? Most robbers, once they get their money they are going to flee the scene... not stick around and carefully scratch backwards letters into their victim's faces. When money is the motive, it's usually, get the money and then get the hell out of there.

just sayin'.
If it IS true, then I feel very bad for this poor woman. But the cynical side of me has a lot of questions. And it isn't because this is a McCain supporter. If she had a M scratched into her face, under the same circumstances, I'd still be scratching my head over this. (I just know some McCain person is going to come on here saying how horrible I am for questioning this woman...)

She most likely scratched it there herself. And those do not look like knive markings.
Maybe she was actually robbed, but then later scratched the B into her face and came up with the story about her bumper sticker and the guy becoming enraged.

That story doesn't even sound kind of true.

Unless the B stands for bullsh*t... that I'd believe.

Woman Robbed With Knife At Bloomfield ATM

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh police are still questioning a 20-year-old woman who said she was robbed and assaulted at an ATM in Bloomfield because of her political views.Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, said she was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her and put a knife to her throat.Police spokeswoman Diane Richard said the robber took $60 from Todd, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using a dull knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said."She further stated that the male actor approached her from the back again and hit her in the back of her head with an object, she doesn't know what the object was, causing her to fall to the ground where he continued to punch her and kick her and threaten to 'teach her a lesson' for being a McCain supporter," Richard said.Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank's surveillance cameras.Speaking to Channel 4 Action News on Friday, Richard said they're still questioning Todd because of some new developments."We have learned that the victim's statement has a few inconsistencies in it and her statement has changed," said RichardRichard said Todd now says she isn't sure if it was a bumper sticker on her car or a campaign button on her jacket that angered the attacker. Richard said Todd added new details to the attack, saying at one point she lost consciousness."She also indicated she was sexually assaulted as well. She indicated that when he had her on the ground he put his hand up her blouse and started fondling her. But other than that, she says she doesn't remember anything else. So we're adding a sexual assault to this as well," Richard said. The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.New Video:Raw Interview: Police Spokeswoman Talks to WTAEThe Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."The McCain-Palin campaign also released a statement saying, "The McCain campaign is aware of the incident involving one of its volunteers. Out of respect, the campaign won't be commenting. The campaign also confirms that Senator McCain and Governor Palin have both spoken to the woman."
