anyone out there still undecided?

is anyone still undecided (about who to vote for, or whether or not you're going to vote)?
if so why?
just curious.... I won't try to convert you :)

Not anymore. Definitely voting for Obama and not McCain. I just can't bear the though of Palin being that close to the White House.

Sort of still undecided. Kind of. It's a choice between dumb and dumber. I can't bear the thought of one in office, and the other seems just as bad. :banghead:

what specifically bothers you about each one?

ps. looked into any 3rd-party candidates? I voted "outside the box" last election because I didn't like either choice.

here's a good quiz - http://glassbooth.org/

Don't forget you can write in your vote.

I live in a state that will vote R by a wide margin, so my D vote would make no difference in this election. More than likely I will write in my vote.

Most of the time what I REALLY want is to vote for "None of the Above," but I don't have that option. :banghead:

Thank you for that link, TommyCat. There was something like this in Le Monde a while back (the French newspaper) that could tell me what candidate best represented my views and concerns. I was REALLY surprised by the result! :)

As for what bothers us about each candidate, the choice of Palin immediately cancels out the need to further consider McCain as a choice for president. Regardless of what McCain does or decides, the fact is that the VP has to be able to step in in the terrible case that something should happen to a president.

McCain is 72 years old and the oldest presidential candidate in US history. He also had a form of cancer with a high recurrence rate. He has refused to release any more detail in his medical records on that issue.

Lord forbid something should happen to him...there's no way Palin should be stepping into the presidential seat, in case something did happen. She's simply unfit to be president and makes any further consideration of McCain unnecessary (for me).

That quiz shows me more in line with Obama's views than McCains. Some of my other ones have put me more with McCains than Obama's. I'm one of those people who agree's with the Democrats on some and the Republicans on others, however my deciding factor for voting Democrat this year mainly lies in Palin as the VP choice.

I was surprised by my result too ... that quiz actually told me my best match was Cynthia McKinney. A lot of factors affect my decision that aren't covered in the quiz though... personality, temperament, getting to know the candidates throughout the campaign, etc.

but I am definitely in favor of getting better news coverage for 3rd-party candidates and including them in the debates too ... I think people would like to find out more about their options, and both big parties would be pressured to be more accountable if they had some more competition.

McKinney was who they matched me with as well. Then Nader, and then Obama.
