Default McCain On SNL?

Has anyone heard that McCain will be appearing on SNL tonight? (Has this already been posted? Sorry if it has)

This should be interesting, since McCain comes off as having as great a sense of humor as a root canal...honestly I wish this not-so-dynamic duo would crawl into a hole and disappear.

I read it in this morning's Newsday too. Should be interesting.

Guano: Did you read the entire paper this morning? There was a section about the town of Manorville and how many of them are voting for McCain because Obama is too much change for comfort. It gave me a sinking feeling.

He's done a number of shows, including SNL, that show he does have a good sense of humor. Actually, both Obama and McCain do, judging from the clips from a foundation dinner a few weeks ago.

I don't think these things are true representatives of their humor because its all scripted including the jokes from the foundation.

I understand that, but that's the vibe I got from everything I have seen of the two of them

. There was a Republican debate from the primaries (wow, those seem like forever ago) where he had some good ones. And there were the interrogation remarks from Letterman. Didn't McCain host SNL a few years ago?

I thought McCain was great last night! Even Cindy got into the spirit of it.

My favorite was definitely Affleck as Olbermann.

He wasn't hilarious, but I thought he was much funnier than Sarah Palin.

The Olbermann skit was PRICELESS!! Ben had his expressions and speech pattern down to a T! I had been worried SNL had lost the ability to poke fun at BOTH sides, and that skit proved otherwise, thank goodness! One of the funniest skits they've had in a looong time.

I thought he did really good. I liked his skit on the weekend update. The sad Grandpa strategy was good.
