i'm relieved Obama won because i would've had to make room for lots of curlies in my little house up here in Canada!

I would have been dissapponted and disheartened if Obama would've lost. His platform aligned with my views more than McCains did.

Unlike some other Democrats, I do think that McCain would have veered a bit from Bush and not become McSame. I wouldn't be thrilled with McCain, but I don't think it would have been the end of the world.

My biggest fear was that something would happen to McCain, and then Palin would be in charge. I'd drop a retirement request in a heartbeat it that would've happened. I don't trust her to be my Commander-in-Chief.
