Yes, some people habitually edit their posts.

It's also helpful when someone deletes the OP after the thread turns into a train wreck, and half the board doesn't know what the drama is about.

I hate that.

It's a great idea. Done and done!
But, if I had put her on ignore, I wouldn't have received the idea to make my awesome OBAMATRON icon!

(I'm seriously thinking about making it a t-shirt. hehe)
You must! Please go to cafe press and do it! I wish I could! I will buy several!

Ah, there were several posts today in which I wanted to tell the poster to go **** themselves.

But, the ignore list works well too

I've done it twice, both times to obvious trolls who have since been banned. It did mellow out the drama unless said person got quoted.

I've thought about it again but am undecided. I see the point for trolls, but remain undecided on intentional $hit-stirrers who are real, and the racist or two who also happen to be real.

Oh the Kooks here on this board are harmless. If they were making threats about someone's safety, that's different. There are sociopathic kooks, and that should be taken seriously.
However, it can be entertaining reading what they say. I need a good laugh from time to time. I sometimes post in response to a kook, but usually I just read it and laugh.
It is a sort of entertainment for me. Who else can I scoff at with impunity?
