First 100 Days

The Wall Street Journal is compiling its news stories on the Obama Administration's first 100 days here. From the description, it's "...news, photos and background on key players and issues in the Obama administration's first 100 days from The Wall Street Journal and across the Web." I think it'll be interesting to be able to see it all laid out together, and I hope it turns out to be mostly positive news in the end.

From this story he seems to have had a very busy Day 1. Some long-needed changes. (And how cool is it to have a President who actually, you know, works?? Yay!)
I'm not only delighted that he's getting right to work, but the level of transparency so far has made me ecstatic. For the first time in a long while we (the American people We) don't have to take it on serious faith that anything is getting done.

I suspect as time goes on, we'll be able to see a lot more governing going on than we did with Dubya. I feel like most of what we saw with him was wood chopping and the occasional photo op with foreign dignities, and every single time, he looked like a little kid dressed up in daddy's affairs. (Mostly, I suspect, because that's what he was, IMO.)
"And politically correct is the worst term, not just because it’s dismissive, but because it narrows down the whole social justice spectrum to this idea that it’s about being polite instead of about dismantling the oppressive social structure of power.
Fun Fact: When you actively avoid being “PC,” you’re not being forward-thinking or unique. You’re buying into systems of oppression that have existed since before you were even born, and you’re keeping those systems in place."
Stolen.
Wow, we're not seeing a whole lot of transparency in the stimulus bill.

And none of his Cabinet nominees seems to think that they have to taxes.

Then two weeks into the office and he has to 'escape' 'cause he is feeling trapped? Get over it. You wanted the job, now do it. SHOVING that bloody stimulus bill down our throats, it HAS to be passed now or the country is going straight down the tubes and he takes a 3 day weekend to go to Chicago for Valentine's because there are just aren't any romantic, intimate restaurants in DC.....
My son wears combat boots (and a parachute).
The older I get, the less patience I have with cleverness. Thomas Sowell.
Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail what you resolve. Benjamin Franklin.
Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. Mark Twain.

None of the cabinet members paid taxes? Again, can you provide a reference and context that none of them paid taxes? I was under the impression that there were two cabinet nominees who didn't pay taxes. I didn't realize that it was all.

And how exactly did he shove the bill down the our throats?
