Should or will Obama take control of the internet?

I'm trying to figure out why someone who belongs to a party that believes in free speech and civil liberties would then turn around and "take control" of the internet.

"And politically correct is the worst term, not just because it’s dismissive, but because it narrows down the whole social justice spectrum to this idea that it’s about being polite instead of about dismantling the oppressive social structure of power.
Fun Fact: When you actively avoid being “PC,” you’re not being forward-thinking or unique. You’re buying into systems of oppression that have existed since before you were even born, and you’re keeping those systems in place."
Stolen.
RCW, world is the operative word. Amuricans control the world, duh. So it only follows that Obama controls The Internets. That is, after all, how he rigged the election. And now there's a black dog in the White House, probably also communist and muslim. What a sad shame. What has the world come to?!11

I think maybe Obama was born June 6, 1966, and he has a 666 tattoo on his head, and is actually named Damien...the son of a jackel.
He killed his nanny, you know.
