The boys are continuing to improve every day! They're breathing on their own now (room air) and are feeding too. It felt like it took for-ev-er for my breast milk to come in, but I think it's finally here. Getting used to that contraption they call a pump took me a while.
The BEST is getting to kangaroo the boys. I go to the NICU for 3 hours in the afternoon and 3 hours in the middle of the night (I have a pretty messed up sleep schedule), and get to hold each one skin-to-skin for about an hour apiece. I also get to change their diapies. Thank you all for the support!

I'm so glad they're doing so well. That's awesome that they are already off oxygen and breathing on their own. They're absolutely precious. Thank you for sharing and take care of yourself

They're adorable (and don't at all resemble birthday cakes...LOL)! I'm glad they're doing well and that you're enjoying your bonding time with them.

The boys are continuing to improve and grow. I just talked with the dr. and he says that now that they're off of breathing support and their IV's have been removed that they're now in a "feed and grow" stage that will last for a couple of weeks. They're both eating my milk (which has been a challenge to collect), but the supply seems to be increasing now to a level that can meet their demands.
On that note, any recs for increasing milk supply? :P I got a rec to drink two kinds of teas: (1) Borage leaf tea, which I haven't been able to find in a store, may have to order online, and (2) fennel tea, which I found in Whole Foods, called "Mother's Milk" tea. I started drinking this about 48 hours ago and I really noticed a difference! Instead of pumping 1-2 oz per session I am getting a solid 3 oz per sesh. Crossing my fingers this is on the up and up. I also got a rec to drink the non-alcoholic beer O'Douls because of the hops. Have yet to grab that from the store.
Any other tips? Thank you!

I've heard oatmeal or any type of oat products are good to increase supply. Also remember to drink tons of water. And keep on pumping whenever possible.
