I agree, that when you're small, there isn't much room in there anyway, so unless you have a really long torso, you're going to look like you carry high. As far as when *I* carried a girl, I wasn't nearly all in front. I had disbursed weight all over. I had these HUGE porno boobs, and my butt and hips, and back had all gained along with my belly.

This time I'm so much in front that I don't even wear maternity pants that often. I still fit into my small sized gauchos that I wore last summer b/c they just fit underneath my belly. I wear most of my regular clothes that are drawstring, or elastic band pants. No way could I do that when I was pregnant w/ B. I also get away with wearing regular stretchy t shirts - whereas before I needed ALL maternity stuff.

M - you just carry LOW. I can't believe your pictures on how low and in front you carry. It blows me away. You have a small frame, but you must have a long torso. I have to hold my boobs up so you can see my whole belly.

I'm starting to make peace with my belly, so maybe I will post some pics soon (need to get up the guts). I'm not sure how I am carrying. Some people say low, some people say "balanced." I am petite and I don't think I have a particularly long torso, but I don't think I'm carrying high (though I do feel baby in my ribs a lot.) I thought Shelli was slim but tall? I don't think she is short like medussa and I.... Shelli?

It's obviously difficult to tell how your own belly really looks... mine measures 3.5-4 weeks behind, and I get lots of disbelieving comments as to how I can't be this far along.... but to me, it looks HUGE. I agree with Shelli that OTHER pregnant women always look cuter than I think *I* do.

Shelli, you look great! You are an example of how different bellies look because I thought you would carry more like me. I think we are the same pre-pregnancy size.

Thanks! I don't know if I'm low or high, but I kind of thought I was carrying low because I had to switch to maternity pants pretty early. But then, my sister's friend was sure I was having a girl because she said I was carrying high. So I have no idea actually!
