Congrats! That's a nice space you will have between kids- Lilly's old enough so she's not a baby but little enough so you're still in kid mode.

Thanks everyone. I am going to enjoy my time before my bedrest starts and hope that I don't end up with the terrible headaches and 24/7 sickness that I had with Lilly.

Congrats!!! I hope you don't get the terrible headaches and morning sickness again.

How soon do you think BR will start? Fingers crossed that you can avoid it this time.

I have an incompetent cervix. We found out with Lilly at 18 weeks when we went in for the big ultrasound. I had a rescue cerclage that night and went on strict BR.

I should go on BR from any time between 12-15 weeks. I called my dr. this morning and made my first appointment for the middle of May, so I will ask about when she does cerclages. I know my dr. with Lilly said that he does that at 13 weeks, but I live in a different city now.

Maybe you won't need the bedrest. I have a friend who has 3 kids, all with cerclages, but she was only on bedrest for the first one. Here's hoping the same for you.

That would be beyond awesome. I just don't see how bedrest is possible with a toddler running around.

I did bedrest with a toddler and it sucks. If and when that time comes I have a lot of tips for you. Again congrats. I couldn't be happier for all of you.

Thanks. I will definitely take you up on that.

I am amazed at how utterly exhausted I feel. I took a two and a half nap today and I am about to head to bed. I really don't remember feeling like this with Lilly.

I definitely have myself a little peanut. I was finally able to go to the dr today and I had an ultrasound tonight. I am 13 weeks. The dr was able to pick up a heartbeat of 160 bpm with the dopler and the ultrasound picked up one up 170.
