Best Boy Name poll
Have choices "narrowed" down, still no great standout or favorite for our little guy, due Thanksgiving. But would like your votes as well as any negative nicknames associated. Middle name is likely Edward, and our last name starts with C.

Quinn and Reid were on my list, but my husband didn't like them. I really love Reid and like Quinn.

I love Rhys - that was one of the options for #2 and it might still go on the table if I have another boy ever. We didn't use it though because I could see people struggling with the pronunciation and phonetic spelling. I don't like Ryker - reminds me of the jail in NY. Don't like Reid. Don't like Zander - Alexander yes, Zander no, except as a nickname. Not a fan of Kristjan - I like the name but don't like that spelling, though I know it's Scandinavian. Christian - yes. Tate and Trey are OK but not really standouts, same for Quinn. In the end it is your decision!

Have always thought Quinn was a great name, but since Glee, I can only think of it as a girls name...sorry

Trey - I think of Trey as a nickname (for 3rd child) rather than the real name
Ryker - Jail, Star Trek. I do kinda like it though.
Zander - Not a fan...it seems like a nickname.
Rhys - Love this.
Quinn - Girl name.
Kristjan - Whenever I see religion-names, I think of a comedian who made a joke "You're name is Christian? What's your brothers' names? Jew and Muslim?" I'm a non-theist though, so probably better not to ask me.

I had to Google it to figure out how to pronounce it  It's "Reese", but "Rice" also came up. I like the spelling, because it looks cool, but I'm not a fan of either pronunciation. I voted for Kristjan because that's my nephew's name lol. My 2nd favorite is Zander, and my least favorite is Tate because people WILL jokingly refer to him as Tater-Tot.

I voted Kristjan, but I also really like Reid.
Tate is nice, but doesn't really seem to flow well with Edward, maybe Edward Tate instead (and you could still call him Tate)?
I don't really like Ryker or Zander (sorry!).
The other names are okay.

What about going several generations on either side?

The tradition on DH side is the oldest boy gets dad's name as middle name (no jr's though). So DS has DH first name as middle, DH has FIL name as middle. Not opposed to it (Thomas) but it would be the same first & last name as FIL. Plus no TOMMY .
Kristjan is the best name on my family side (Paul, Mikhel, Feodor, Mart are some others ). I feel like with this one, I should get some family heritage dibs since the first one got DH middle name. Edward is my dad and DH's Granpa's name, so it covers both sides really.
Quinn was the second name on our list for Drew, we still like it, the biggest issue is the unisex/girl name trend.
Want ease of spelling/pronunciation for all the kids names but still not super common.

Voted Rhys but Kristjan is nice too, just don't like the spelling. Maybe when he's born and you see his face one of the names will jump out as the obvious choice.
