Sooo, after concerns of baby being breech for now & the possibility of having second csection if I'm overdue, baby's too big or don't progress well with labor, we've set a date for planned c/s.

The recovery was my biggest motive for VBAC and with DH in prep for deployment, I know that it's more important that he can be there and take that memory & experience with him when he's gone. I'm going to feel like crap either way, but sharing this experience will be our first & only time.

I just hope the Army doesn't jerk him around at the last minute. He's only getting 2 days home as it is

Girl, you know I gotta have a date!
I hope it all goes well and your hubby gets to be there. Did you ever come to a decision on a name?

Starmie we are 99% sure. Unless a serial killer or celebrity baby name makes the news, then we're back to the list

Wish you luck and hope your hubby can be there. I've been there twice.
Good luck! I, too, have been there. I had 1 baby with him there and one without. Having him there was so special for both of us. Can't wait to hear how it goes and what name you chose.

Oh, I didn't realize he is military. Having him there is an excellent reason to have a scheduled repeat c-section, in my opinion.

So...when is the date?
Aw, I'll keep my fingers crossed that your husband can be there. Good luck!

I'm glad your husband will get to be there with you!
Thought I post this pic from the last day he was home, it melts & breaks my heart at the same time.

That is the most beautiful, sweetest and sad picture...just because he will be missing so much. Thinking about you Spider.

I have a picture like that with Lilly. Bryan later told me he was on the verge of crying and I definitely was. It really is such a blend of emotions.

What a beautiful picture! Deployments are so rough. Can't imagine going thru it with a newborn. Will he have access to email and video chat? Hope so.

How are you doing with your recovery?
Spider I so know how you feel. I'll be keeping your family in my thoughts during the coming months.

What a lovely pic, can't imagine how hard it must be for dads having to leave like that.
Not a breeze for the mums either.

DH & and I are going to try face timing ( like Skype ) and email. It still won't be easy for him to be gone but technology makes keeping in touch easier.
