I always heard ginger was good for nausea - my mum went through ginger biscuits like no tomorrow when she was pregnant with my younger sister

Each pregnancy is so different. It's hard to be sick when you already have a child to care for.
Here's some info about ginger and pregnancy. On babycenter, look at page 3 and 4. Hope you get some relief.

Glad it helped. Ask your doc about adding vitamin b6. It's supposed to help too.

Just make sure you're eating enough. I was so sick with both my babies, and the only thing that helped was making sure I ate small meals all day.

My prenatals made me sick with my third child. I tried 4 different ones til I found one I could stomach. Not saying that's a cause for yours but it could be. I hope you feel better soon!

On my EVO

Glad you're feeling better. I had the all day nausea going much worse second time around, no fun when you've got a toddler to look after.

update: still super sick, I had to go to the er last Friday for an Iv for dehydration. it's hard to drink anything, can't keep anything down really. the only time I feel "ok" is laying in bed w it dark quiet and cold. I literally feel so overwhelmed w this, my son is 21 months and can't have an out of service mama. crackers are even giving me a bad taste on my mouth now. last week i was started on bactrim for a uti and that is just making me wayyy worse. part of me wants to just stop taking it.

Oh you poor thing. Don't stop taking the ab's though, it'll just make things worse in the long run.
Don't know what to suggest, fizzy drinks and salty food always made me feel better but I guess you won't be able to face them. Did the hospital not give you any advice when you were in there?

my dr office and the hospital both called in anti nausea meds they go under your tongue and dissolve cause I'm allergic to phenegren, so hey have a flavor to them that has been setting me off also. last night I took it though and felt better all up till I took the antibiotic. then it was back to sick I actually don't feel that bad at all without the antibiotic then as soon as I take it I'm so sick for awhile. supposed to be taking it for 10 days at the hospital originally the dr said you don't need to be taking something you can't handle so well stop the antibiotic but then he called my dr office and they said the uti I have is only susceptible to this antibiotic :/ so I have to take it for a min of at least 7 days. today will be my 7th day. I gotta take it sometime soon then tonight. I also have a dr appt in a couple hours. hopefully he'll go along w that and said I can't stop today. if not 3 more days of sick :/

I found these when I was pregnant with my second and wished I had them for my first since the Rx's never worked for me.

In fact I still keep them around the house and car for all of us and the lollipops for the kids when they get sick.

www.threelollies.com

I prefer the drops but the kids love the lollipops.

I just got some organic lollipops from the grocery store and they have really helped me. I don't think my "morning" sickness is quite as bad as yours, sweetmx, but they have helped - especially in the car. Mine are from a company called Yummy Earth and I got them in the natural aisle of Giant (our regional supermarket chain). I wasn't able to find the preggie pops locally, so I tried these and was pleasantly surprised. YummyEarth - YummyEarth Retail and Wholesale Organic Lollipops and Organic Candy Web Home

We have some of those in the house too. Man they have awesome flavors. My husband is constantly stealing them and bringing them to work.

Oh I also used sea bands( sea-bands.com: The Leading Sea Band Site on the Net) and still do when I get sick from migraines. They help too.

Good luck ladies I hope you find a little relief.
