I hope everything goes well and I wish your sister all the best.

That said, this is her pregnancy and her baby. You and your mom don't get a vote. It's one thing to talk it through with other people but to gather opinions and information to try to sway her/guilt her/scare her into doing what you want is over-stepping boundaries.

It'll be the same after she has the baby. Her baby, her decisions.

I would have been LIVID if my mother, friends, or siblings thought they got a vote in my pregnancy and birth.

That's why I was induced. That test was normal and then a few days later the fluid had gone down a lot. By then I had been in labor for a few days so I got induced to speed stuff along and help my dialate. I never got past a 3 so they did a c section the next day.

No but she did do a test for fluids and to make baby is okay. Everything was normal

this would be a concern if my sister were you but she isn't .we are a close knit family (we dont make any major decision without having a family meeting..yea its like that) and not only did my sister ask for our 2 cents she values our opinion. She isnt a child she felt that something wasnt right about getting induced that early. She knows at the end of the day we will support whatever decision she makes we care about her and wants her to make the decision thats best for her.

Thanks for the warm wishes she is still her wabbling like a duck. After 42 weeks we will see but to induce her @ 40 weeks on her first pregnancy is insane

At this point we are just waiting on baby. Last nite she said she felt tingling in her cervix. I really feel like everything is going to work out. Her last apt was Thursday she will no longer be seeing him. She supports her decision
But also said that after 42 weeks she needed to set a date to be induced to prevent still born.

Btw i really appreciate you coming on here and checking on the progress

I know it's weird. I really wanna know how it goes for her. :-) Don't want it to end up like my situation and I'm sure it won't. I'm getting anxious like she's my sister. She's probably tired of everyone and their mother bothering her and thinking everytime she blinks its cuz she's in labor. Ha! I remember those days.

...and this is why we told no one I was in labor until AFTER E was born.

Smart girl!!! My parents were there. But after my cell was blowing up and I just shut it off. Now I have facebook so I would have hubby posts the deets and then shut it off.

Today would have been perfect! My baby sister bday was jan 16 and we were hoping they wouldnt share the same bday. My sister is getting heavy flow thats good sign of the baby on the way

Yeah. I didn't have any signs until my back started hurting. Took me a few hours to realize it was labor and not a backache. :-)

Exactly! Men always wanna take the easy way out in these cases where they will never know how it feels to be in our shoes. Her boyfriend is impatiently waiting. He should be here this week for sure

She is in labor but not active labor. When she went in to check if baby is ok they kept her saying the baby heart rate was @ steady pace and normal is when it goes up and down. So they probably gonna end up inducing her afterall. As i said b4 i just want her and baby to be okay @ the end of the day its her decision and i support her. hopefully next post is of baby
