Default Similac Coupons

If some of you read in my previous post, Liam's pediatrician put him on a new formula... He is now on Similac® Alimentum® Each 16 oz can is $25.00 I used to pay only $23.00 for a 32oz can of Nestle Good Start...
I will do anything I need to for my son but it is so EXPENSIVE!!!

I have signed up for the coupons with them but it may take a while to get them.. If anyone has any coupons that they would be willing to part with please let me know...

Thanks, deedles

My mom had problems with me as a baby being allergic to many formulas and having to try out really expensive ones.

In some cases, your doctor can write you a Rx for a certain formula and you can
1. sometimes get it cheaper through a pharmacy than just off the shelf at a store
and
2. Can get your insurance to cover some of it since it is a Rx (even though it is the same thing as off the shelf).

I'm kind of suprised that at seven months they are switching his formula my friends baby had to be on that for awhile when she was real little but was able to go back to a cheaper formula once she turned around seven or eight months. I will watch my magazines and other things I'm sent for coupons for ya. Hopefully he won't have to be on it to long

i hear ya! Wehave been on similac from the begining, Kroger usually ahs it on sale, and Sams club has the best deal, we got the huge container and some travel packs for the same price of the regular at walmart.

Also, we told family memebers that was what we needed, so for christmas, everyone got S a container of formula, MUCH better than more toys or outfits...we are doing the same thing for easter, get him something he will use.

also check other baby boards, i have gotten TONS of coupons that way.

Maybe try Googling Similac coupons. I tried that, but could only come up with ones that were good in Canada....not a lot of help to you

Deedles, I checked all my coupons and they all expired except for one. It's 5.00 for organic Similac. Is this the same thing or different??? I'll dig some more to see if I have some other coupons...

If you still need Similac coupons, I looked through my drawers and found several $5 coupons. PM me your address.

You can try Ebay for them....but honestly, they go for quite a bit (and whyyy...I don't know). I've sold a few that have gone for like $7 for $10 worth! Go figure that out.

And I've seen users that buy these things by the TRUCKLOAD (like feedback is in the thousands and ALL checks for formula...)...I don't get it unless they are affiliated with a shelter or something.

ANYWAY.....I know about Alimentum! We were on it for a while (until we found a different issue with Trevor)....my daughter was on Nutramigen when she was little.

I never could get our insurance company to pay for it. They consider it FOOD and not a medication/medical equipment...so lots of luck there.

Be glad you don't have to go to Neocate or Elecare...that goes for about $10 MORE a can!

You might also want to take a look at Craigslist for your area. My friend told me they sell all kinds of baby/kid stuff on there.

Deedle, I saw this on Craigslist for my area:

Alimentum: 5 DOLLARS EACH BOTTLE OR 40 A CASE (4 CASES)

You should check it out for your town. You might find something like this.
