I left DS at about 2 months to drive my grandmother to VA. The trip was about 9 hours. Three words: rock hard boobs.

He was fine, though.

Pixie, Do you pump at all?

When I was BFing, i would take a cheaper hand pump and leave it in the car so I could relieve the pressure. I did not want to crt my electrc pump all the time and this worked great if we were out and I would just go and pump. Just throw a cooler with ice in the car and you can save the BM

I thought about this. I shouldn't be gone for TOO long at the concert, and don't want to have to go out to the car during it since we'll probably park a few blocks away. I figure if I need to, I can manually express some milk in the bathroom to relieve pressure if necessary.

I was thinking even for the ride home. I remember one time i made it through the whole night out, but HAD to express once we got into the car, while mike was driving on the way home.

Oh, there's no way I could go 9 hours! I would have pulled over a couple of times at least to express some. The few times I have gone out without JJ for more than 3 hours, I have expressed some milk or I am just too uncomfortable.

Just manually works for me!

I used to carry my Avent Isis pump in my purse. Once I pumped in the middle of Washington Square Park with it.
