I gained 35 pounds, all but 5 in the last 2 1/2 months. And I ate LESS at the end because my reflux was so awful! I could smell a hamburger and put on 5 pounds.
I actually talked to a friend who is 7 months pregnant the other day, and she said, "I've only gained 5 pounds and I'm 7 months, so it's almost over. I got off easy. "
I didn't want to burst her bubble, so I kept my mouth shut. But anyone who's had a baby knows you don't really start to blow up until the seventh month. It ain't over by a long shot!
Rule of thumb when pregnant: When you look at your belly and say "It can't get any bigger", it will double its size.

I gained like CRAZY throughout my first trimester. Weirdest thing was, that I wasn't eating bad. I was eating veggies (cucumbers, carrots, celery) and got absolutely SICK at the sight or smell of fast food... so I was on a healthy course... but for some reason I'd gain like 5 pounds, then 10 the next month.

My second trimester it started to settle out, although I started feeling the weight lol... My third trimester I'm right where I need to be... which is amazing cause' I'm eating so much more NOW than I was then lol and it even includes junk food LOL

I started at 174 (I've always been a thick 160-170 at a size 9 jeans lol!) and now I'm 217 lbs. GOOD LORD lol.

This is so true. In that last trimester, it was as if the weight gain was out of my hands--I wasn't eating all *that* much (there was hardly any space for my stomach to expand, for one thing) and I was starting retain a lot more fluid.

I gained 41 lbs. I gained about 5-7 in my first trimester, another 15 in the 2nd and the grand total was 41 lbs (7 lb 9 oz. of which was baby).
