My 5 month-old isn't into anything except being latched on to me.

Po my son had that mic when he was your son's age and he loved it too!
Trains, Matchbox cars, anything having to do with sharks, whales and fish.

He is 3.
To Trenell, MizKerri and geeky:
I pray none of you ever has to live in a communist state.

Geeky is my hero. She's the true badass. The badass who doesn't even need to be a badass. There aren't enough O's in cool to describe her.

My two year old is obsessed with his golf clubs, which he is using to destroy my home. I'd like to use them to beat my friend who gavet them to him for his 2nd birthday.

Oh my, that golf toy was a big at my house for years--except it was never allowed in the house. It was strictly an outdoor toy.

Webbie - my kid just has the hammer gene. Every new thing he comes across needs to make contact with a wall. Ironically, my friend's two year old has the same golf club and he uses it as a vacuum cleaner.

Susannah is two next month. Her favorite toy is anything she can steal from the dog.

My kids (Maya's 2 and Max is 6) love their musical instruments, especially the Little Tykes piano and the Little Lyon guitar. They've both asked for ukuleles for Christmas.
Chas' favorite toy is his Fischer Price Laugh and Learn Learning House. He got it on his first birthday and still plays with it a ton.

Anything he had bang on that makes noise. He loves his drums, and his v-tech rolling ball.
legos and trucks. that's for both the 4 year old and soon to be 2 year old. I keep reminding myself as I step on legos in the dark and in my barefeet that they really enjoy playing with them. They are each getting some playmobile truck sets from grandma for christmas.

Oh and the oldest is separately obsessed with cash registers so he's getting a wooden one for christmas while the youngest has quite the pitcher's arm. We're trying to dissuade him from that though LOL.

eta: madscientist - yeah that gene seems to be quite pervasive around here. And we made the genius move of getting a couple of wooden hammers which instantly get tested out on every surface. Thankfully a hunk of florist foam covered in burlap with a cheap bag of golf tees + said wooden hammer = happy kid and happy mom. (not my idea just stole it from another mom with a happy banger).
