You can cradle in a Moby, although I never tried b/c D. prefers to be upright.
CGG - If you want a Moby, I can sell you mine. I just listed it and my hotslings on the non-hair swap board, since we're becoming a strictly MT/SSC family. I would also encourage you to keep trying the MT maybe every week or so. Dylan hated the Babyhawk at first (but liked other MTs ) to the point where I almost sold or traded it, and then last week something magically clicked and now he loves it.

both of my kids hated the cradle hold. So from newborn all I've used is the tummy to tummy position both in the slings (pouch & ring) as well as mei tai.
CGG, I agree, keep trying the mei tai. Ian was super fussy the couple of times I was trying a new carrier. I think he was picking up on my anxiety and also didn't want to put up the extra minutes it took momma to master the basics of wearing.

MS - I didn't like the Maya wrap - would rather stay away from the ring-type of carriers. I liked the Moby for it's variety of ways you can pop the kiddo in there.
Bailey- I PMed you
Marielle - I am keeping the MT - and I'll try it out - I just feel that Luke is not an upright kid right now.

Miss Kennedy looks SOOO cute with her baby!
I made my wrap on Saturday. I bought 5 yards of red fleece. I don't sew, so I just cut the fabric width down the middle and went to town. It works great, but it is a little thick to tie. I like how snuggly it is, though. I was able to get a really good hip carry with it and also a tibetan rucksack carry.
I am now going to be addicted to Joann's Fabric store. I may even have to learn how to sew.

Ok, gotcha! I have a wrap but I've never used it for cradle, since my kids don't like the cradle hold. Its definitely very versatile, but a bit cumbersome with all the fabric.
FB - I tapered the ends on my homemade wrap so that it was easier to tie. Do you not find fleece very warm? I'm sure its snuggly!

I did something similar last night with mine. I did the rubber band trick described on the page I linked earlier. The fleece is warm, but since I plan on using it outside, I like it. It's like wearing a baby sweater!
I have so much fabric left over, I'm thinking of making a no sew ring sling!

Here's us with our homemade wrap:
I think Harry may be a wrap baby. He's been arching to get out of the babyhawk.

Fuzzbucket, Harry looks much older. Can't believe our babies are the same age! Great job on the wrap.
