Great blog post about PPD

I know I am always pushing "Ask Moxie" here, she is so right on about so many things.

Anyway, with a bunch of new and expecting moms, I think this is good reading. The 14 Tips to Prevent Postpartum Depression link in her blog is good too. The early days of motherhood can be really tough, even in the best of circumstances. So be informed and get all the help and support you need, however you can.

Geeky is my hero. She's the true badass. The badass who doesn't even need to be a badass. There aren't enough O's in cool to describe her.
very good post geeky - she definitely has some good suggestions. I've noticed even when I'm not pregnant (but am lactating) that my EFAs and supplements like cal/mag make a world of difference in my mood.

I'm looking into tinctures/herbs and homeopathy for stuff to have on hand PP too this time around. I want to ask the midwife when I see her but I remember hearing good things about pulsatilla and chamomilla as well as Rescue Remedy.

Thanks, Geeky! I've read her 14 tips before, but now I just thought maybe I should talk about this with DH a little bit, so he won't be blindsided if I have trouble.

Thanks for posting this, Geeky.
