What to pack for the baby??
I know, weird question for a second time mom, but S did not come home until he was 7 weeks old.
What do you need at the hospital for the baby so far I have...
coming home outfit
carseat installed
is this all I need??

Pretty much that's all you need. If you have a special blankie or hat that you'd like baby to wear in the hospital, take that. If you'd like your baby to have a pacifier, I think you'd bring that too.

Yup. You can bring cloth dipes if you want, or you can just wait till you get home. I also brought a sling. I used it inside the room, but was asked not to use it in the halls (because you have to wheel the baby around in the stupid isolette per hospital rules)

Pretty much. With Sol I also brought diapers and wipes (we were using disposable at the time) but we ended up not needing them because the hospital provided them. Although, the hospital didn't provide regular disposable baby wipes, they were cloth-like paper towels that I had to wet every time I changed him, which was a pain with the meconium. So maybe your own wipes. I'll probably bring my own cloth dipes and wipes this time - you can even ask for an extra peri bottle to wet the wipes (which you could do with the paper towels too). I plan to bring a wrap to the hospital too and will be really pissed if they don't let me use it in the halls. It's actually a birth-center-within-a-hospital, so hopefully they're more open with that kind of stuff.
Oh, and I would bring multiple going-home outfits in case she poops or spits up one on of them, or in case the weather is colder or warmer than you expect. Don't forget a hat and bib too, and socks/booties.

Any certain blankets you want to swaddle the baby in while you are there, hand mitts, your own wipes...
My baby wore the wrap aroudn t-shirt & a diaper the whole time. He was sawddled up anyway and I didn't want clothes rubbing on the umbilical cord stump. Next time, I will bring my own baby hat b/c the one from the hospital didn't fit well- it kept sliding off his giant head. LOL! Oh, and a boppy makes life way easier!

A special blanket! HA I just realized I do not even have any girl blankets  I have been meaning to make her one and I keep forgetting about it with all the other things!
I totally forgot about hats, the mittens and the socks!
Great Idea with the sling
I never thought about wipes.
I am going to stick with disposable everything while I am in the hospital. My laundry room is downstairs, so we figured we would wait until we got home so I did not have to worry about getting down there for atleast 2-3 days (which I have enough cloth to get me through that far). I plan on throwing my last load of dirties in before I go to the hospital so all whoever come to watch Steven has to do is throw them in the drier once the wash is done.

ok, another dumb question...I was going to bring her home in a sleeper (the light weight kind) that is not going to be too warm for end of July/early aug is it??

J was born at the end of July. A heatwave was on, and all I dressed him in was a onesie and diaper. No hat, cardigan, sleeper, socks or blanket... it was way too hot.

Lilly was born at the end of May in TN. We came home on June 1st and it was hot. She was preemie size and I only had a long sleeve preemie onesie, so she went home in that and her hospital hat. She would have been in a cute short sleeve shirt and pants had she been normal size.
