Take a pregnancy test. That will answer your question.
It can also be normal to have periods like this on birth control. I know I did.

I would take a pregancy test just in case.
well yeah i had unprotected intercourse but i didnt miss any pills. i kno i can still get pregnant but can alcohol affect periods?

when I was on birthday control (HA BIRTHDAY)
When i first started I had normal periods but like a year after that I would only have them for three days. So you just started the birthcontrol?

Alcohol doesn't usually affect periods.

Still...I think taking a pregnancy test is a good idea. Then at least you'll know for sure and you can just move on and start your new pack of pills as usual.
from my experience, i would recommend you take a pregnancy test this month and again next month if your period hasnt returned to normal.

i had an issue like this once. my period is very regular and predictable. and then one month it was much lighter and much shorter than it usually is. i took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. the following month, my period didnt come at all. took a test and it came back positive. once they did an ultrasound based on the size of the fetus, i was further along than they thought i was by a month. the wonky period i had wasnt actually a period and the pregnancy test gave me a false negative.
The pill can make you stop having periods altogether. I was on Loestrin for 3 mons. The first two, I had a really light period. The 3rd month I had none save for a bit of spotting. I thought this was because I have PCOS so I don't ovulate routinely as it is, but I've heard other Loestrin users say they had the same thing happen. So I don't know whether it's just this pill or that's a common thing with BC pills.

I'd take a test just to make sure, though.
