Default How much to pay a sitter for 2 Kids?

DH and I and a friend and his wife are going to lecture next Thurs night to hear Neil Degrasse Tyson (astronomer)

The lady who sometimes watches Liam has said she can watch both Liam and Colin. Colin doesn't require much (Diaper/Bottle)

How much do I give her per hour? do I just double what I would usually give her?

I don't have any experience with this, but I don't think you need to double. Depending on what you've been paying, maybe add a few bucks per hour or even 1.5x what you were paying her, but doubling seems like too much. Do you have any local moms you can ask? Babysitting rates can vary greatly by region.
