I just have a recommendation, for anyone using GVP Hair Reconstructor, shake the bottle well before using it.

This was the second time I used it. The first time, when I squeezed it into my hand, it was very thick and white. So thick, that I felt like I needed to stand it upside down, in order to facilitate getting it out. This time, the first squirt was thick, but then it was very thin and clear with some white little globs. I shook it up real well, and then it started coming out looking more homogenous and the consistency was more moderate.

So now, I'm not sure if I even got a good protein treatment that the first time. I'll update the results from today, once my hair dries.

fine bleached 2a/3b hair that doesn't actually curl, it's just like an S shape that just gets tighter. sometimes some of it curls underneath though.

Is the one GVP product that is supposed to be a k/o of Joico K-Pak? I'm on my 2nd bottle of this and I really like it. I always shake it before using, but I've never noticed a problem with the consistency otherwise. Maybe take your bottle back to Sally's and exchange?
