Preferably no smelly ones, I've tried aphogee but just couldn't handle it

My current favorite is Ion Reconstructor from Sally's. It does have a light/moderate fragrance but I don't find it to be too strong or unpleasant. It's not a super heavy-duty PT, but I really like it and it is CG for those following that method.

Thank you! I don't mind fragrance just as long as it doesn't smell like something that requires bleach to be cleaned up *looking at you aphogee* I'll definitely try that.

If your looking for something inexpensive and easy to get a hold of I personally prefer egg yolks, kraft mayo and good old evoo that I mix up in my kitchen. Nothing I have purchased from the store has compared to the results I have gotten to my kitchen concoction and my hair has never been healthier, stronger nor have I seen this little breakage or shed hairs (knock on wood).
For my deep treatment after I use Suave Almond & Shea Butter condish w/coconut oil added, cover w/a processing cap and sit under the hooded dryer for 35 mins and I'm good to go!
I love cheap and easily accessible. I don't like a lot of drama w/my hair especially when it's not necessary!

favorite PT-IAgirl's gelatin PT
I don't really DT. I just use my rinse out. If I want some extra moisture, I mix in honey and maybe a few oils.

Does whey protein powder work?
Like the one you add to smoothies, before work outs, and muscles added to conditioner or oil. I have MRM whey protein powder and I was wondering if I use it on my hair to give it some muscles.

The best protein dc I have ever used is the one in my siggy. Nothing I have used has compared to it! I am currently using organic coconut milk but its not CG. Will have to give Iron Reconstructor a try :-)

I definitely second IA Girl's gelatin PT. cheap, easy to make, and easily customized to be weaker or stronger, as needed.
