Protein cream and or leave in suggestions
Hey!
I'm on the search for a good protein cream preferably one that also has natural ingredients in with the hydrolysed proteins - no mineral oil or petroleum. The proteins must be higher up the list too.
My hair is definitely moisturised but It needs some strengthening too.
I don't want suggestions on protein conditioners or shampoos thanks.

Hi...do some research on the benefits of beer as a conditioner. it has proteins in it and also hops which is good for your hair. I used it the other as a spritz. I used dark Guinness beer but you can use any type of beer. It made my hair thicker and softer. You can add it to a cream conditioner also.
Here is a link to start but there a tons of articles about using beer as a conditioner.

My hair LOVES protein. I use some of the PTs as my leave in: CJ Curl Fix, SS Protein Repair, Shescentit Okra Hair Repair, Mozeke Carrot Protein Mask. I'm not sure what CR SOYlicious is supposed to be, but I use it as a protein packed leave in, too.

Ok so I've bought a sample of the Hairveda acai conditioner. I'm yet to try it but I soon will. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'm curious about the beer conditioner ... I'll look into it.

I've tried the Hairveda a few times now. It gives my hair instant softness and wetness, clumps my curls, but after a few hours my hair is back to normal. Naturally dry yet pliable. I'm guessing this just gives a protein boost but not a moisture one. I've sealed with light and heavy oils respectively but still get the back to normal feel.
I'm on the fence about purchasing the full size.

I second Kathymack's recommendation of CJ's Curl Fix & CR's Soylicious Asa leave in. They are two of my favorites.

Curlisto deep therapy mask. Leave on for at least 30 minutes. It is excellent for elongating and has lots of proteins.
Recently I've learned to look @ ingredients in products my hair likes and only buy products with those ingredients. Helps me with wasting $ of items that end up under the sink.

you could always add protein to your favorite LI. I just got neutral protein filler from sallys....and WOW my hair LOVES IT!!!!! I actually applied several drops to CJ repair me...left that on 10-15 mins...rinsed and then added couple drops to KCKT...My hair shrunk 2-3 inches...and clumped up quite nicely..which for a wavy is a miracle...so this NPF you can do as a treatment directly to your hair or by adding it to products which boost the protein amounts...Good Luck

I love Shescentit Okra Reconstructor and Shescentit Fortifying Hair Masque.
Also the Colorful Neutral Protein which I'll just add to anything I have.

Thanks for the suggestions.. I'm not sure I'll be able to get those products in the UK I think..
What's the name of this protein filler? Or do u have a pic of what it looks like. I want to see if I can get something similar here. Is it hydrolysed protein?

Colorful Neutral Protein Filler, sold at Sally Beauty Supply here in the USA. Sally's website doesn't provide the ingredients, so I looked them up on Amazon:
Aqua, Hydrolyzed Keratin Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein (and) Wheat Oligosaccharides, Keratin Amino Acids, Aloe Barbadensis, Humullus Lupulus, Urfica Dioica, 1, 3, Bix(Hydroxymethyl)5, 5 Dimethylimidazolidine-2, 4Dione, Methyl ester 4 Hydrozxybenzoic Acid, Tetrasodium Edta, Polysorbate-20, Parfum.

Goodness! It comes to £28 (around $44) in total for a 16oz bottle. That's quite steep isn't it!? And there isn't a smaller bottle I'll try and check in a beauty store somewhere..
