Hi. I didn't know I was protein sensitive until I went to a curly expert stylist and she let me know. ... I had been overdosing on LA Looks Hair Gel and at first it looked great, but then my hair got like straw!!!

My hair is very coarse and doesn't need any more protein...

Hope that helps...

Hey mama!!

idk about anyone else.. but that has got to be one of the most intelligent approaches to hair care. Getting to the root of it.. instead of spending hundreds on a bunch of products in blindness expecting one of them to magically work! So, thank you !!

Thanks Queenofkinks!! but believe me ... I have spent bookoo money over the years, not to mention I"m such a product junkie.

I found this site last year and learned so much from it! Also, currently, I am in Tampa and made an appt last year with "Struttswife", who is about an hour away from me, and it was the best $70 I ever spent!! I got a 2 hour education on how to take care of my hair. She is the one who told me my hair was coarse and didn't need anymore protein.

She is excellent! I absolutely love her, and her hair is gorgeous too!

Yeah, that is totally cool!! I like to hear about people receiving good service. The economy gave me a helping hand in slowing down the PJism. LOL!
