What's a good moisturizer and sealer?

I'm protein sensitive and I've been looking for a leave-in, moisturizer, and oil without protein. Right now, I just co wash and use my Africa's Best Herbal Oil. Any advice?

I have very coarse hair and am protein-sensitive. So many products have protein and I seem to spend hours reading labels.

Rinse out conditioners that are protein-free:

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose
Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm (or the knock-offs if you live in the states and can get them)
Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment
Curl Junkie Curl Rehab

Stylers:

KCCC (and KCKT as a leave-in)
HESMU gel (firm hold)
HETT gel (medium hold)
Matrix Biolage Firm hold gel
Curl Junkie CIAB

For sealers, I use olive oil. Looking for a nice protein-free butter.

I can't seem to use the cheaper products as they give me an itchy scalp. The Herbal Essence Gels are bad for this.

Good luck finding the right products.

Check out my signature all stuff is protein free.
I only use suave naturals to co-wash. All are protein free besides the coconut.
The Jane Carter Nurish and Shine is a great seal.

Thanks again! I actually used the Suave Coconut and it doesn't do anything bad. It doesn't even make my scalp itch. I forgot about Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine. I want to try that.

My favorite leave-in right now is Shea Moisture Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner. I use it as a leave-in, moisturizer, and sealer because it contains jojoba oil and aloe vera. I get it at my local BSS for $10 (8 oz).

My other standby is Kinky Curly Knot Today.
